Molly Johnson
Welcome — I’m glad you’re here!
I was born and raised in Ormond Beach, Florida, and currently attend Flagler College as a junior pursuing a theatre arts major with minors in music and graphic design. I started my career as a dancer first, training classically throughout my childhood and teen years, and now am more well-rounded “triple threat” due to the acting and vocal performance training I’ve gained at Flagler College.
I am a working artist, whenever the opportunity presents itself, and plan on continuing my performance work post grad to gain more professional experience throughout the country. I am passionate about connection through storytelling and music, as well as dance and the representation of the human experience. To me – to perform is to live through every moment, and experience completely, to connect with the audience in a way they never expected.
For the past few years, I’ve performed outside of Flagler at a number of community theaters, such as productions at the Halifax Repertory Theatre (“42nd Street” and “Guys and Dolls”) and the Limelight Theatre (“Annie”). In addition to that, I have also had experience in choreographing for musical theatre productions at Children’s Musical Theatre Workshop, for both “Matilda Jr.” and “Beetlejuice Jr.”, as well as Seabreeze High School, for both “Anastasia” and “Mamma Mia”.
Now that you know a little more about me, please feel free to come back and see what's new in the upcoming future!! I look forward to hearing from you…
All the Best,
Molly Rose Johnson
